In a remarkable performance given the weight of the occasion, Roger Federer won his record-tying 14th Grand Slam title 6-1 7-6 (1) 6-4 win over No23 seed Robin Soderling of Sweden.
The road to chase the history is so far away. Fortunately, it really has happened sooner or later. Now he has the same many Grand Slam titles as Pete Sampress, his ever idol. Furthermore, it's still possible for him to witness more avaible future. He did make the history.

一早起来，发现好消息。英国神奇小子居然把NO.1的纳豆拉下马了。牛的机会来了。没想到一场大雨过后，纳豆还是被横扫了。之前颇担心的障碍终于被解决。可能纳豆累了。毕竟连续参加比赛，体力上的消耗还是非常大的。另有说法是穆雷对找到纳豆硬地上的弱点很有心得。这一点值得牛好好学学。这次的机会不是一般的好。牛无论如何想方设法竭尽全力也要拿下最后一场比赛，离他五连冠的霸业只差一步之遥。不能重蹈温网的覆辙，看了真让人心痛。有时需要对胜利极度渴望，加足马力往前。不能只关注过程。毕竟辛苦了这么久，承受力这么多的压力，总需要找个时机释放一下。明早对穆雷的比赛，胜面应该还是挺大的。惨淡的2008也许还能留下一抹光辉。年终第一的宝座还需努力争取。做好一切准备，找回巅峰的NO.1。
一场折磨人的漫长比赛

这是一场万众期待的比赛，赛前已汇聚了多少关注。这也注定是一场可以载入史册的经典比赛，经典的过程，经典的结尾。不期而至的大雨数度中断比赛，让悬念一直延续着。折磨着现场和电视前端观众。伦敦多变的天气给比赛带来了太多的不确定因素。哪怕观众再多，比赛再精彩，也得看老天的脸色。由于是纯粹的奶粉，这场比赛看得跌宕起伏，扣人心弦。我希望小费赢。但没想到一上来就是0：2落后。正当提他捏把汗的时候，他开始了惊天大逆转。依然没有破发的优势，仅靠两个微弱优势的抢七胜利，进入到了决胜盘。决胜盘，小费每一局都保得很悬乎，能否彻底逆转，还得看大雨过后的好戏。看这种比赛，简直让人透不过气来，压抑紧张。真希望小费能早点拿下比赛，派颗定心丸，也好早点让观众们回家睡个好觉。第二天再起来欣赏各大报章网站的头条。
比赛终于结束了。从晚上9点到第二天4点半。石头终于落地了。除了遗憾还是遗憾。一着不慎，所有记录被终结。只能接受现实。以牛的风度，应该过程比结果更重要。生活还要继续，比赛还要继续。也许输赢并不重要。心里平衡才是最终归宿。

Swiss Federer Into Final First

Today comes the semifinals of gentlemen's single. And I began to think that maybe this time Roger would have faced the first real chanllenge of Wimbleton this year created by Marat Safin, who defeated Roger and got the championship of Australian Open in the year of 2005 after tough five matches. Though Safin's rank in ATP has gone down to No. 75, yet it never has any effect on his being a competitive players, who nobody can reglect easily. Not being a seed player this year, Safin can go so far, which shows his good state. I'm still looking forward to this 
match very much. It's certain that I hope Roger to win finally. However, it seems not tough match for Roger. He's so relieving as he says after the match in the interview. It's obvious that Roger enjoys the course very much. As he ever tells that he like the atmosphere in the center court in Wimbleton. When the match goes to an end, all audience will rise and applause for both the players, which brings so many good feelings to heart. Maybe Roger feels satisfied and pleasing to receive appriciation from all the ten thousand audience. Roger has entered the final for the sixth time in Wimbleton and is waiting for the winner of another semifinal between Nadal and Schuttler, and his 64 successive winning in the grassland. Anyway, hopefully Roger can get the miracle and creat his own history in the lengendary grassland in Wimbleton.
郑洁未能进入决赛

守了一夜，终于看完了比赛。郑洁虽然输了，但仍然创造了历史，虽败犹荣。比赛时间其实不长，紧接在大威和戴娃之后，在中心球场上演的第二场半决赛比赛。但被突如其来的大雨打断了两次。小威今年的状态一场比一场好，从赛后数据对比可见。高得惊人的一发得分率。只要一发进球，几乎就能得分。小威的发球太强大，力量大，角度开，特别是外角发球，有些球郑洁几乎根本碰不到，再加上全场14记ACE球，根本无法阻挡。就连毛瑞斯莫也是以0：2输给了小威。郑洁今天打得不是不好，而且雨后回来，特别是第二盘开始，状态提升非常快，底线很坚实，双手反拍也屡屡有致胜球出现，让小威也无可奈何。总的感觉是，只要郑洁接发球好，跟小威在底线对抽，郑洁基本不吃亏，甚至更有优势。以两边大角度调动小威，小威的脚步很明显是她的弱项，跑动中的击球失误率还是非常高的，不够稳定。只要郑洁能调动起小威，得分就变得更容易了。整场比赛最可惜的就是，郑洁浪费了第二盘的一个盘点，以致于造成了全盘的失败。以小威如此良好的发球状态来看，基本上郑洁是抗不过来的。没想到，第二盘郑洁还是抵抗的不错，一度还破了小威的一个发球局。只是在发球环节上，两者差距太大。第二盘的抢七决胜，郑洁用一个而且是全场唯一一个双发失误，把小威送进了星期六晚的女单决赛场。这也是威廉姆斯姐妹第三次携手进入温网的决赛。郑洁虽然未能进入最后决赛，但已经创造了历史。7月5日女单决赛那天，是郑洁25岁的生日。也希望郑洁继续保持良好的状态，甚至再提升到更好的状态，未来创造更多的奇迹。让更多的大满贯观众记住中国人的脸孔。赛前，卫视体育台作了一个很有意思的调查，采访场外观众能否读出郑洁的名字。大部分的观众还不能完全发出她的名字，但有少部分观众已经能准确地说出郑洁的中文发音，而且不少观众表示非常欣赏和支持郑洁。日后，如果有更多的中国选手能在大满贯上创造更好的成绩，相信会有更多的观众认识中国网球，更多了解中国。************************************************************

Olympic torch lit in Olympia

The Olympic torch has been lit today in front of the Temple of Hera on the historic grounds of Olympia, in the birthplace of Olympism, where the Ancient Olympic Games took place. The flame was lit successfully by a Holy Priestess, according to the traditional ritual, using the sun’s rays and a parabolic mirror.
Passing by the tomb of Pierre de Coubertin Following the mythical lightning, the priestess entered the Ancient Olympic Stadium with the torch and handed it over to the first runner of the Beijing 2008 Torch Relay. The young man passed by the tomb where Pierre de Coubertin’s heart is buried, to launch the long journey of harmony of this Relay. The torch will be crossing five continents and stopping in 21 cities around the world before reaching China, where it will stop in over 100 places. On 8 August, it will enter the Olympic Stadium in Beijing during the Opening Ceremony to light the Olympic cauldron.

08澳网

08年的澳网不知不觉中开始了。有网络还是挺方便的，一样可以关注比赛的进程和结果。今年的澳网是爆冷的温床。女单方面，毛瑞斯莫、库兹涅佐娃已经早早被淘汰，接着夺冠热门海宁也被莎拉波娃强势拉下马。大小威也结束了澳网征程。男单出了一个成色十足的黑马，法国的特松加。他三下五除二，以3：0把二号种子纳达尔打得毫无还手之力，只能望球兴叹。而今天小费也在全无状态之下被小德淘汰了。比赛中，小费根本没有发挥出单反的威力。反观特松加，倒有些小费昔日的风采。小德就像纳达尔上身，斗志十足。比赛看得人揪心，直为小费担心。每个发球局都保得如此艰难。反观小德，失误少，致胜球多。小费的金满贯泡汤了。正赶上劳伦斯奖即将揭晓。小费又提名了。不知道连夺三次之后，今年还有没有希望。随着新生力量的兴起，往后的大满贯之路越来越难。要突破桑神的纪录，不大容易。除非小费找回巅峰时的状态。

Fantastic Federer Wins Fourth Title
ATP World No. 1 Roger Federer capped another breathtaking season with his fourth Tennis Masters Cup title in five years after defeating Spaniard David Ferrer 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 in Shanghai Sunday.
Played before a capacity crowd at the futuristic Qi Zhong stadium and set against the backdrop of the sound of Swiss cow bells and a Spanish trumpeter, Federer improved his unbeaten record against Ferrer to 8-0.
